Minute with Max: Resolving Conflict in a Divorce Case

A very common question is what is my personal approach in resolving conflict during a divorce case.
This is a great question as litigation can be tricky.
When you start the process, it is an exchange of documents. Once you exchange those documents, you have a mediation. You go to mediation with an open mind, and with the idea that you want to settle that case at mediation, and with a full settlement agreement.
If you can't settle the case at mediation, then you go to trial. When you go to trial, you are going to war. That is when we start putting together our evidence and witnesses, and get ready to battle.
And that's my philosophy with handling litigation in a divorce case.
